I was wondering if anybody was running a tdo5h Bullseye turbine housing with a evo3 16g turbo? Any real world results or logs would be great? And your experiences with the bigger turbine housing would also be great. Thanks for the time

Have you called any of their vendors, because i'm not sure they make the 8cm tdo5h housing anymore?
Do you have your eye on a used one or something?
I would have to think it would help some in high boost situations(25psi+) as well as give more flow per psi all around!

Well I would like to have more power and top end. The spool on these smaller turbos is nothing, I'm use to my sc61, so I am not worried about a little slower spool for more flow.. BTW I am also going to have to take off my Magnus smim and either put back the stock intake manifold or hopefully succeed in modifying a stock intake manifold with shorter runners and a bigger plenum. And the for smog, still retain the stock EGR setup. I am also planning on running 22-28psi, depending on how the setup likes boost. 91 octane, water injection.. I'll keep my eye out for a Bullseye housing.

Years ago, when Bullseye first came out, I put a housing on my 14b. To tell you the truth I didn't notice any change at all. So the results may be negligible but you can try it for yourself. The 7cm2 housing on the EVO316G may already be sufficient for the turbo so a bigger housing may not make much of a difference.

I am currently running this setup, with a external wg off the O2. I have yet to dyno, but on a decent street tune the biggest thing I've noticed is a noticeably quicker spool. With this setup I am hitting 20lbs. at 2300-2400 rpm in a 5th gear pull, as opposed to 2600-2700 rpm with the stock housing and internal gate. I am running cams and 9.0:1 pistons, so if stock yours may not be quite as quick.

I was talking with someone on the DSMTalk forums a while back about this. He had swapped out housings on his 18g and I think he claimed either a 2 or 4lb/min increase I don't recall which it was. (I think 2) as he was trying to max the turbo out.

Once I get to the point I think the housing is holding me back. I was going to contact bullseye and see if they still carried the housings. (That may be quiet some time)

Thanks for all the replies guys. I too have spoken with someone on this forum that had a 18g at high boost and gained 2lb/min, and he also said that he did not lose any spool time. Seems like a worth while upgrade at high boost.. I would imagine this turbine housing, 272's, and a smim making a 16g car very fast. All that flow might allow you to shift at 8000rpm when need be.. 1st gear shift at 8000rpm, and holding 4th already makes quarter mile passes faster.. Thanks again for the real world input
