What's up guys.

Need your help, february 9 going to install fmic and evo3 16g, my question is if I can use oil lines and water lines from the T25, I know that on oil lines is different but be specific because want to get all asap. If you post pics much better.

Thanks a lot!:thumb:

i havent had a MHI turbo for years (ive been Holset big boy status for awhile) but i do know that it will be most easiest for you to buy a install kit from a vendor. the install kits for 2G are specifically made to convert 2g cars that came equipt with garret turbo to convert over to mitsu turbo.

im not sure of the best source to buy this kit but id look at mach v or RRE or something like that.

is slowboy racing still a company? anyone?

The stock T25 drain can be used if you enlarge the bolt holes on the turbo side. The water lines can be extended and connected using some fuel hose. The feed will not work though, you will need a 1g or aftermarket feed line. But this exact topic has been covered a million times, so if you need more specific info it's out there. :)

Coolant lines can be used with a little modification(bending the lines a bit) and the oil return can be used but Id suggest picking up a 1g drain line makes life a lot easier. You will have to buy a feed line though, stainless feed line from the oil filter housing works nicely.

This topic has indeed been discussed many many times if you need more info search.

No, thank god. Living proof that if you're patient enough, most problems often solve themselves.

As far as I know they still are. They switched over to that whole "BUILT" setup like a year or two ago.

MHI Turbos like to be fed from the head or, if from the OFH, with a restrictor.

OFH is too high of a pressure. I'm sure Justin will chime in.

That was forced because Huml screwed all of his suppliers when the original SBR folded. Try to find one DSM bolt-on turbo on Built's site. :D

I just installed a 16g and my coolant lines worked fine. I picked up a 2g install kit from extremepsi.com. It's well worth it.

You can use the water lines from the T25, you just have to bend them a bit. You have to get a different oil line though. If I had to do it over, I would have bought spare bolts ( turbo/manifold, turbo/o2 housing) getting so close to being done, then breaking a bolt SUCKS.
