when you think about it, the 2.5rs is suppose to cpmete with the mitsu lancer, then the wrx is suppose to compete with the evo, then the sti will compete with the evo mr?

I think they are both very nice cars. I see it like this, do you want an apple or an orange? they're both fruits. Both acidic but with different flavors. If there was a big difference between the two, diffinitely get the better one. It boils down to the aftermarket, if you are gonna modify your car or not. The winner isnt decided yet. I'd say in 2 or 3 years maybe when we will realize if there will be enough support for which ever car. I was watching speed channel one night and saw two evolution VIII's in a rally sprint. They both were very very nose heavy. Everytime they went sky high, their nose came straight down first. That just shows how heavy the evo's head is. That is a no no. Either that or the driver was not driving fast enough. I'd say hope for the EVO MR to reach our shores and Subaru to build an MR STi. Then you guys can have another headache over which is better.

having owned a wrx my faith in suby vanished. that car couldnt beat my 9 yr old tsi in handling or power. my wife actually beat me in tha tsi up the twisties. and im barely modded with a dying clutch. anyways the new sti has ac problems, and steering rack problems the evo has none. the evo pulls .95 g's, the sti pulls .94 g's turning right, and .90 turning left. their engineers suck. period. the wrx's tranny problems are horrible i actually got stuck at a couple of lights trying to grind the shifter into gear. and thats a 2004 car. thank god i got to return it.
