EVO turbo, or fake knock-off?

I bough a GS-T that had an 'evo III 16g' in it. wasn't sure or not so i pulled off the intake to take a look at the turbo and this is what the label said...

Turbocharger
Mist DSM EVO III
TD05H
Serial No. M20601584


I had read that 16g's ending in 52,42, or 47, depending on weather it's big, small or true evo... so what's the deal with mine? Just curious

If it actually says evoIII on the compressor housing with the serial number on the same badge its not a real MHI it is an ebay 16g. Post a pic can tell you for sure.

alright i had figured that from what i had read...

so what kind trouble have i got myself into? .

Well there are some people that are having some success with them. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266209 read through this. It seems some of these "evo316gs" actually only flow as much as a s16g according to what there website says. I have yet to see any logs or dyno graphs to prove that right or wrong
