evo pump and injectors?

560's are ok for a 14b, but if you're pushing any of the 16g family you're gonna want bigger. Especially if you want to run E85 in the future, which will help you push the 16g further.

What will you be using to tune? If you're using anything that modifies the chip (keydiver, link, ceddymod), I'd go with 1000cc's for the sake of doing it. No loss in MPG and a ton of headroom for bigger turbos, E85, and engine modifications. Aside from the higher initial cost, you can't loose. Even in the 900cc range is good too.

If you'll only ever run gasoline 7XX will probably do it for the 16g safely, but what fun is that

E8 pump is like a 190. The general consensus is that a 255 will do 500hp or so, the 190 will be in the 400hp range. Probably ok for an E3, but why risk it when a 255 is only $100.

with 255 fuel pump and stock FPR + evo injectors u no need rewaire this is good up to 850 injectors .
u need rewaire 190 fuel pump.

I believe as someone said earlier, the evo pump is comparable to the 190 so it will work. The deciding factor on which pump and injectors you should use ultimately comes down to your goal. You didn't mention any hp goals, but for 20-24 psi you should be fine. A 255, afpr, 650-750cc injectors wouldn't hurt, but your set up will still yield a large improvement over the stock fuel system.

A budget fuel system is a good way to ruin your engine. If you stay with the 14b you won't outgrow the evo gear. If you go to a 16g you will be in the danger zone for the 560's and eventually the evo pump at high intake pressures. Why buy twice?

Until you can afford an AFPR, you can drill a tiny hole in the valve of your stock FPR to drop the idle pressure to stock level.

The reason you need an AFPR is that the amount of flow is too much for the stock valve. When it's fully open the flow from the 255 backs up under the full open condition of the stock FPR. With a tiny hole cut, it leaks out enough fuel to idle properly. Under most other driving conditions the stock FPR is fine due to the fact that the injectors are using up some of the flow potential of the pump and it's flow capacity goes down as it has to work against a higher pressure.

As said before, you should be fine running the 560's and an evo 8 fuel pump. This fuel set up will probably not be enough if you want to try to get more power out of the 16g though.
People are telling you to go with the 255 because we know that boosting is an addiction and we all want more power later down the road. Buying the bigger pump now will save you money by not having to buy the evo 8 now and the 255 later.
The point of the rewire is so that you will have a consistent voltage to your fuel pump. The voltage in a car fluctuates when you turn on lights, accessories or anything else that draws a current. As said by Jafro in a different thread '"You wouldn't want your turn signals causing you to go lean when they blink or because Jeezy's new album makes girls' asses hit the floor." So yes, you should rewire any pump.

haha yeah i know what everyone means about the boosting addiction and okay well im getting a good deal on this and i wont up the boost until like april when i get the evo316g and by then ill get a pump and fpr. and sell mine

like $140 for the injectors and pump and then later i can get a 255 for $100 and then ill need a fpr $125. right now i dont have $225 plus injectors so im going with the evo 8 setup for now.

*****READ THIS*****

LOL sorry wanted to grab your attention

!! anyhow, the evo 9 fuel pump i read flows a lil higher than 190 at times so if you can grab one of those GET IT. I wish i did! You wouldn't have to buy a AFPR and save that cash and then you can also do 660s or bigger it won't hurt.

but if you can't get the evo 9 go with the 8. if your low on cash and don't plan to max out the turbo past 20-23 psi! even if you do plan to go more higher psi you can sale the fuel pump easily and grab the 255 all day.

Good Luck

you can get a ix pump for 40$ on evom and other evo websites. I bought two IX pumps and both were about 30-40 each. plus they flow i think 205?
