Will the evo brembo brakes fit with Rota SVN 17" rims? This is on my 97 gsx.

It depends on the offset. The 17" wheel itself will be large enough to fit the caliper, but the caliper will hit the spokes if the offset is to high. If the offset on your Rotas is +38 or lower then you will be fine. If not you will have to either get spacer and longer studs, or a different set of wheels.

i'm pretty sure if you go to a tire shop they'll know exactly what you will be needing because we still don't know your offsets.

i'm using evo 7 brembo on my car.
i'm also using 17" Original rims from an EVO 7 to clear the brembo.

the spec of the rim have to be 17 X 8 offset +35 at least.

if using the common size 17 X 7 with offset +40, u will need a 1" to 1.25" spacer to clear the brembo, depends on wheel design.
