I'm building a head and want to get a few opinions.
I picked up a set of evo8 valve springs and retainers for a good price so i m planning on using them.
I want to push around 400-450 HP daily driven

What cams and valves would be good paired up with the springs and what would I need??

Not a 100% on this but I think with your power goals aftermarket valves would be over kill. Get in touch with BogusSVO on here and find out for sure. He's the guru when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Kinda ignored your other question LOL but im shooting for similar power goals as you. IMO id run a set of HKS 272's. As they are drop in and go (no need to degree the cams). Evo springs and retainers pair up good with the 272's too.

Gsc ss valves and s1 cams. You'd be good with them.

I would use the stock EVO exhaust valves as well, they're sodium filled in order to make them lighter, and it's the valve those springs were designed for. Dimension wise they're identical to DSM valves, the only visual difference is the 6N marking instead of the 6T found on DSM ones.

First read about the springs.

I am NOT a fan of the EVO VIII valve springs. Others adore them.

But for 400-450 HP the stock 6T valves will be fine. If you can get your hands on the EVO VIII exhaust valves,Used, run them. But I would not spend the cash on new ones.

About any of the "small" 272 cams (HKS, BC, FP/Comp) should get you to the HP goal

There are lots of guys running the stock 6T valves at that level and higher.

But if you just want some SS Valves, look at the Engnbldr valves on ebay, and save some cash.

Damn dont rain on my parade and tell me its necessary to upgrade valves for 400-450hp.... buzz kill. I thought with a 3 angle valve job standard valves were up to the task. Damn it!

Didn't say they were required just recommending them. Stock valves will got to 600hp. If anything a spring upgrade is needed long before a valve upgrade is. Engbldr is a good valve too as bogus said.

I run them. And dsmgraveyard sells the same ones and they use them in there stage2 heads.

Yes those are them.

I stock them myself, I have forgotten just how many sets I have installed.

What HP range? The same range you would run Ferrea.

Probably the only thing I have in common with them....

If you keep it under 800 hp,I think you will be fine with them.

The stock tvalves will be fine for 450hp like bogussvo said. A friend of mine was running stock tvalves and retainers hks 264 272 cams and some crower springs he maid 650awhp on racegas

Sounds like you have a plan comming together now.

Best of luck on the build, and keep us informed how it goes!
