Before you get all pissed off, I am not asking if it will bolt on or what I need to install it.

In some other forums it has been said that someone installed an evo 8 turbo in a 1g. There were no specifics, the person just said they saw pictures of it. Does anyone here have this picture or a link to it? I am curious to see how they did it, if they in fact did do it. Just out of curiosity.

i just posted this in a thread in this forum, but the link is down. it requires a lot of work

Then why post this in "Turbo Tech"

It's a technical question involving a turbo. You would have known that if you read beyond what you quoted. In addition, I found what I was looking for on Dentsports website.

Don't have pictures, but here's the breakdown.

Alternator needs to be relocated, need an evo8 manifold, custom water/oil lines, custom intake piping.

Asking for a picture is not a technical question. There are at least a dozen threads already open on this very subject. Posting to one of those would have been the wiser choice.

In addition, I found what I was looking for on Dentsports website.

The exhaust side looks a bit tricky as well :dsm:

maybe we could extend the shaft of the turbo to have it connected to a pully from like 0-4000 rpms or something (like the ac system) for uber fast spool on those super sized turbos...:sneaky:

I have seen some dumb shit in my days, this idea is almost to the top with a rotary powered RWD hybrid CRX
