2G evo 8 rims in 2g

hi guys im from Europe and I drive eclipse gs focus eu with 4g63
now I have finished the restoration of the engine and bodywork..
now I have decided to homologate the tires from 17 (225/45/17)
I found the tires with the rims of the evo 8, my fear is that the wheel exits from the wheel arch .. I saw that you have mounted them .. can anyone help me? I have the set-up of the series and the car is all stock..
I have to do the revision I have to stay inside the wheel arch with the tires..

Those wheels for perfectly with that tire size. No need to worry about them sticking out or rubbing the wheel arches.

so the wheels are inside the wheel arch? doing the pendulum test? if they were to go out, the revision will be rejected

dont full understand your question? the suspension moves so its going to pivot! whats all this about getting it in a series? they give you rules and you suit to them rules so no need to get it approved. if your worried about sticking out then then dont as the evo wheels are a pretty high offset so will fit nicely inside the arches with them tires, as they pretty small tires they wont bulk out, it might get close to the end of the arch,

what series you entering an NA 4g?

maybe it's my english that is not good ... here in Italy we do not have precise rules for the homologation of the rims ... the important thing is that the rim does not come out from the wheel arch

Your series WILL have set rules, wether it be FIA mandated or its countrys club rules, here in the UK we have the MSA which is a motorsport group whom make regs and rules for the UK, similer will be for Italy! Your series wont run without guided rules so it will be for everything including wheels,

Mine states if it sticks out then i have to cover them
