I know the pistons fit on the 1g rods using the same method as putting a 2g pistons but my concern is the evo 8 piston has the pin a little up compared to the 1g pistons.Does the evo 8 pistons are gonna sit lower on the 1g block?

Anyone who can share a little knowledge on this? I only need to know if the piston sits lower than the OEM ones

The Graveyard sells Evo pistons I think you can even order them fitted to rods from them. But they claim the 8.8:1 compression ratio is reduced on a DSM engine to aproximately 8.5:1. Not stating that as a fact that, thats what the compression ratio is on a DSM. But thats what they claim.

Just reference there page, they have a little short right up on it. And from the sound of it love using Evo pistons as a great affordable upgrade. Supposedly higher compression, skirts are coated, and 20% lighter than a 2g piston according to them. Also stronger than our stock pistons.

The ONLY question I have about Evo pistons in a DSM block, is does the valve releifs being on the wrong side when installed in the DSM block cause any potential interference problems? Or maybe because of the different location of the wrist pin this prevents any potential problems...but then how does it effect quinch? I think I recall the DSM Graveyard stating that the change in writst pin location was actually benificial some how. If the damn internet wasn't slow as #### here in Afghanistan i'd pull there page up and quote it with a link... shit I might anyway got nothing better to do.
