EVO 8 ecu 3k rpm lean out

OK, so I'm having an issue I can't seem to get passed. I'm running an evo 8 ecu and dw 1300 cc injectors on e85, omni 4 bar, gm iat to fuel temp input. I've "successfully" converted to speed density, but I have an issue with the car hitting a lean spot around 3000 rpm on acceleration with seemingly no correlation to engine load (I can cruise in that area without issue). Fuel map adjustments, turning off closed loop, nothing seems to help the situation, so I'm looking for ideas.
This does not seem to be the tip-in issue most describe as it does it with constant throttle position, just crossing that 2800-3000 rpm area. I'll upload some logs a little later, at work atm.

both high and low fuel tables are good? what tuning software are you using?

Only using the high Oct at the moment, low will be based off the finished high map as I've done in the past. First time dealing with SD or e85 and I know both can be quirky. I'm using ECUFlash/EvoScan for tuning.
Didn't get to the logs yesterday, hopefully I can today.

i off topic but i was going to ask what was speed density running on. but check out your fuel tables and look for load and rpm

Ok, so I returned to my previously working maf map and the problem persists so it must be a mechanical issue. The only part I can think of is the cas, but wouldn't it have issues at all times if that were the case? Maybe some odd resonant frequency thing at that particular rpm? Considering purchasing a black top cas as it seems most have better luck with that one on the 8 ecu anyway.

Well, it was not the cas, so now I'm stumped again... anyone have any other ideas?
