evo 16g and manifold

i'm planning on putting on the evo III manifold and 16g but i dont know if i'll still need that adapter kit they sell for like another 200 bucks. i know that ive heard you need that jpipe but if someone could either give me their personal experience at doin this or if yous know of some written instructions that i couldnt find it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

This is a step by step for ghetto rigging a 14b onto a 2g.
Follow this when you install the 16g.
