EVO 1 Motor

Does anybody know if the motor that comes out of a 1992 Evo 1 is a 6 bolt or a 7 bolt?

I believe that all evo's were 7 bolt

Thats what I thought too, I just wanted to make sure. I cant find any info on it. Only the EVOIII-X motors.

I'm 99% sure they were all 7bolt and the evo's 1-3 were basically the same is wy you probably can't find much on them. Very lttle was changed between the first two except handling tweaks. The evo 3 got the higher compression pistons and the 68mm turbo compressor.

All evo are 7 bolts I am definitely sure. They also had a cyclone intake manifold I think.

The cyclone style intake manifold wasn't on any Evo's but other jdm Mitsubishi's such as the Galant's. The evo's recieved the short runner intake manifolds.
