Alright Im planning on running an EVO III setup on my 2g GST so heres a list of what I have and what I'm buying, I just want to get an outside input if this is everything that I need. By the way my HP goal is right around 400 and the car is a daily driver, dont know if Ill get it with this stuff but it sure is better than stock :)
Have:
-ATR 3" Catback
-DNP Equal Length Headers
-Apexi AVC-R
-Apexi TT
Buying
- Evo III Turbo (inlet/outlet porting)
- SBR 2.5" O2 with dump
- Tial 38mm Wastegate
- Tial BOV
- GM 3" MAF
- MAF Translator
- FIC 550cc Injectors
- Walbro 255 Fuel Pump (Low Pressure)
- B&M FPR or should I do Aeromotive FPR?
- SBR 3500 Clutch
- SBR LSD Insert
- 2 3/4" VPC Intake with K&N
- SBR FMIC (blowthru and tial flange)
- 3" high flow cat
- ATR 3" downpipe
- New Timing Belt
It may not seem like it but im trying to keep the price as low as possible but I am, any suggestions are welcome though.

The EVO III may not be enough turbo for your needs if your goal is to make 400HP. You may want to go with something larger that will give you plenty of power at lower boost levels with the ability to turn the boost up with correct supporting mods. Also, I think the money being spent on that DNP header would be better applied to a strong tuning device like DSMLink. Finally, yes, drag radials will be a must as well as larger injectors. I'd easily recommend 720's, but you may want to ask people who run 50 trims and see what they say.

Hope that helps,

Andy

Alright so I guess this will be the deciding factor in whether or not I buy all the things that I listed. First, can I use the MAF-t to tune the fuel or is an SAFC II necessary? and Second, can I use the AVC-R as a boost gauge (digital) for now?

If you want to save some money, I was goin to say just port the stock exhaust mani but since you've already got a new one maybe run an internal wg setup. I would spend the extra on a good tuning method such as dsmlink, get larger then 550 injectors & get an aeromotive fpr. Is that 400 whp your looking for? If so I think you should be looking at a larger turbo, maybe a 20g or a 50 trim. Also I've heard 400 hp is about the limit for those lsd inserts, their alot more money but for that kind of hp should maybe look at a true lsd.

I know this isn't an hp mod, but what about a short shifter, for the "racing" factor and fun factor IMO.
