everyone with a "loud" exhaust!

This country cop pulls my fiance over and tells her she needs to take the neclace off her mirror. But it was night time and he somehow saw it while she was going 50 past him. anyways she calls me and tells me about it and so i make sure to go slow i was in 5th going 45 and he pulls me over too. says my exhaust is to loud and gives me a ticket. to bad i only have an apexi 3 in cat back with a stock dp and i had the silencer in the trunk. as he got back in his car i got out put the silencer in waved him over so he could hear it and he wrote it off. what a waste of time eh. cops are just jerks sometimes.

OP: I would have given you a ticket if I was that cop too, just because you were an asshole. Maybe if you were respectful he would have let you off with a warning which is what often happens with these tickets. And I'm calling BS on the shooting flames too. Oh and while I'm on the subject, your car isn't JDM.

Yes, turbos will generally reduce the exhaust noise of your car, this is why there is such thing as a "turbo muffler" which is just a higher flowing muffler that counts on the turbo to help silence the car. Since they flowed more you ended up with higher performance and everyone just put them on as long as the could handle the noise and nowadays the term "turbo muffler" has become nothing more than a sales gimmick.

Just heard my 3" turbo-back in a parking garage for the first time today. Holy sh*t.
