Hello friends !

I'm about to buy an EPROM ECU, Socketed, but I'm not getting DSMLink right NOW.

My old burnt ECU has also EPROM, so can I just put the Socketed "new" ECU and insert my original chip in there ?

Thanks !!!!

Depends on if your old ecu was socketed too. If it wasn't your going to have to have the chip removed from board without damaging it. The chip has small prongs and is delicate. Id suggest having it professionaly removed unless your experienced at that type of work. But once removed intact yes you can just plug it into the socket and go.
