Damn it i just got my car back 4 days ago from the mechanic shop after sitting there for 45 days. It needed a new clutch, oil seals, and antifreeze coolant lines thanx to a f-ing leak. So after spending maybe $1200 parts & labor (since i cant & dont have time to work on my dsm myself) So today my car just shut off at a traffic light on me, it wouldnt start back up. So we thought it was the battery that died on me. We went to Walmart and got me a new battery. Tried to start it & it didnt for the first few tries, the engine would turn over but wouldnt start. But than seconds later it finally started. But i head this weird Knocking noise coming from the bottom end of the engine. I dont see how this sh!t is f-ing possible to be a rod bearing because i just had a fresh Head Rebuilt 3,000 miles ago. Does anyone know what could have happened, or is it indeed a rod bearing issue. I did notice the oil somewhat dark when i checked it, and to my knowledge my mechanic changed my oil when he put the clutch in. Last but not least, is there a chance i was crankwalked, its my biggest fear. I HATE MY DSM!!!! WHY OH WHY CANT THIS CAR EVER RUN FOR ATLEAST A WEEK WITHOUT A PROBLEM
