engine trouble help needed

i have a 96 eclipse gs, i put the whole motor back together because i had to replace the head gasket, when i went to start it it wouldnt fire, the coil has power going to it but wont spark and the fuel injectors wont pump. when i hit the gas pedal it makes a humming (electrical) nice and the lights dim out, the tach dont work and my dash lights dont work, anyone got any idea to help me?? I also bought the car when it was getting worked on too.

Damn dont know where to start....electrical issue for sure, check alt and battery. All fuses, fuel injectors wont pump?? Is your fuel pump working? Timing marks lined up? Was the Ecu messed with? Seems like an easy fix...just go over the wires slowly and get a multimeter...

Does the car turn over and just not spark?

i would check your asd relay which is on the firewall next to the break master cylinder. if there is no power to it then that would be part of your issue. i also would check your ground wires which there is one on the intake manifold by the throttle cable bracket. there is another ground by the starter that bolts to the block right below the head. get a volt meter and make sure your battery has 13.5v at least while cranking and the starter should have at least 11v to even turn over. check your fuses under the hood and under the dash.
