I have a 1G NT and was wondering is it would be better to swap out a 1G GST engine than to turbo a NT?

It's "better" to buy a turbo to begin with. But if that isn't a viable option you can get some pretty good numbers out of turboing an N/A but it will be pricey :)

The 420a is actaully a good platform to Turbo on. Just make sure if you do turbo to build your engine up to handle the horsepower you're going for. Theres no need to waste the money on a swap. Cost is a huge issue, just buy the Hahn stage 1 and a full catback exhaust, and youll be pushing more than the GST.

Of course it would be better too turbocharge a "turbo engine" rather then a "non turbo engine"
