engine rattling

I was trying to tune my airflow using DSMLink this afternoon, I was at about 4000rpm when a loud rattling sound like there are a dozen marbles in my cylinders suddenly comes out of the engine bay. I get off the throttle and slowly cruise it back home (30 secs away) at around 1000rpms, rattling all the way. The rattling gets louder as the rpms rise leading me to believe some of my engine is being tossed around by the pistons... I posted the log in the DSMLink forums. I was wondering if I could get some help in diagnosing this....

There's just a little bit of coolant leaking from one of the turbo lines, I think that was just bad install on my part after I ported it. No oil leaks, no smoke either.

wow i finally found someone that has the same problem as me.
ive checked my car several times and im positive it isnt a knock or a lifter tick.
its a horribly loud rattle coming from the engine..exactly as you described.
its gets louder and faster as you rev the engine correct?
have yet to find anyone with a possible solution to what it could be

Oh boy! Most likely it's bad bearings. Be ready for a rebuild!
