6 bolt 4g63 crank + eagle rods + wiesco 8.8 stroker pistons? Would it work? What kind of displacement and compression ratio would it have? I tried searching and couldn't find any relevant info.

It would be a 2L with pretty low compression. The stroker pistons just have the wrist pin location moved higher into the bottom of the piston as to allow the extra travel of the 4g64 crank to not cause piston to head impacts. With a stroker motor its not the pistons that add the displacement its the extra STROKE(up and down movement) that is obtained by adding the 4g64 crank. Is is this reason why 2.3/2.4 cannot rev as high as a 2L.

No it will not work. The wrist pin sits higher in the stroker piston because of the longer stroke in relation to the short deck height. You would end up with a compression ratio lower than the 8.8 you are looking for. FOr the piston to work right you would need a custom length rod and even then it still may not work.

So I've got 2 different answers? Hummm I'm also not really looking for a specific compression ratio. I just want to know if it will work?

It will work but, if your not going to be running a 4g64 crank why buy the stroker pistons???? It doesn't make any sense, your going to end up with a 7.x:1(or even lower, if a headgasket can significantly lower or raise comp ration imagine what a moved wrist pin would do) comp ratio and going to sound like a retard to anyone who hears your setup.

Not sure what you meant by this. Both Zach and I said that it would work but not very well. We just said it differently.

I already have the stroker motor built. I came into a money problem, so I figure I can sell the butcher 4g64 crank and put my stock one back in for the time being. I haven't even started the motor yet. I wish I could afford to buy the correct pistons, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to want to put a 2.4 crank back in someday. Do you think the compession ratio would be close to stock (7.8:1)?

It would come out roughly to 5.5:1 compression ratio.

Really! That's way low! I'll have to get a another non butchered crank. I was looking up the specs to use the calc. You beat me to it. Thanks!
Btw I have the composite head gasket on the motor.

Not srprising though considering that head gasket difference of 1mm can affect your compression and you are talking about dropping the piston 12 mm. I am not sure about your setup since you only :) every where, but you are talking about allot of work to save money. I understand the need even though I do not know your particular situation, but it might be easier for you unload some other stuff and keep the engine intact. It is easier to sell a turbo that has been installed than it is to sell a crank. Not to mention the expense of finding another crank to use just so you can drivr your engine, if you still have your old turbo laying around you can just use it. Or be like me and just use the MAFT in front of the TB until you get another one. wuth 8.8 and a 2.4 you will not have too many drivability issues. Just make sure your engine is tuned for that setup. Just my .02

I'm not really trying to save money. I'm trying to get some money and still be able to get my car running. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to part it out. I was just fishing for options. I've got over $18,000 in brand new parts on this car and I haven't even started it yet. I thought I could play Chip Foose and rebuild her:)

I need money because the fvcking mortgage company decided they didn't want to give me my loan anymore. After the builders started building the house! So, now I have to part my car, to get money, to add to the down payment, to qualify for the other mortgage co requirements. Otherwise the builders said they're going to sue us for their money! I'm so pissed off. So watch ebay, I'll be listing everything soon. PM me if any of you need anything.
