Engine Knock? (Vid inside)

Just wondering if my head is about to go. Bought the engine from a JDM place that said the engine had anywhere from 30k-60k miles. I've probably added around 6k so far.

This noise started off when I added a new tranny w/ a excedy twin disk clutch. So I'm thinking it could probably be the shield that goes between the engine/tranny, but I dunno. Was such a pain to put it in there, and the knocking sounds like some other video's I have seen.

Does the noise go away when you push the clutch in? Twin discs are notorious for chattering and making all sorts of noise. Are you sure you got everything tightened as well. Sounds like something is tapping. Doesn't sound like your head is bad or anything. Just curious as to why you went with a twin disc. They are terrible for daily driving, and looks to be SERIOUS overkill for your setup.

Yeah, it does go away as I play with the clutch. It doesn't stay on all the time. I just wanted a second opinion.

Why did I go for it? Yeah, this is my DD and it's been hard as hell to adjust. But I got it for free, along with the super light flywheel I got with it. I might have to end up bringing the tranny down next week and making sure everything is alright.

For now, I'll just set ECMlink to not read knock till 45% throt.
