Engine Identity??????????????

Hey everybody!!!!!! I am one excited individual. I finally got a hold of my garage and talked to them about the engine. All that I know about it is: It is a 7 bolt, it has yellow top injectors, and they said that the turbo looks almost Identical as my big 16g. So I'm assuming it might be and EVO III16G. Well any help would be appreciated.

now more serious of an answer, if it is a 7 bolt and from japan, then it probably is an evo engine, and probably has a Evo III 16g... But if it is from america ???? I have no clue what u meant by anything... If they have a 6bolt JDM and the turbo looks simular to both of them then you probably have a Galant VR4 engine with a 14b, and they dont look to far apart from each other...


As for the evo engine, the problem if you have a 7 bolt you cant fit it into a 1G. BUT you can only put in an Evo I - III into a 2G every other year is inverted.
