Ok i recently just got qouted for my block to get bored out .20-.40 o/s. now my question is ..... what else do i have to do to the motor besides the pistons/rings so it will run right ? sorry still a newbie tryin to figure all this out ? wasnt sure where to post this either!

bore, hone, polish crank, replace rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, replace main studs, replace head studs. That's the minimum imo.

Pointless to overbore unless you have scratched bores.

And no, this probably isn't advanced.
