I've seen alot of peeps talk about stroking their engines to 2.3 to spool those big turbos up. I aso thought about the same thing, now i've also played with destroking so that i can spool that big turbo up and using those high R's to hold boost between shifts.

But i grabbed a 6 pack sat in front of my DsM and thought for a minute :D yup only a minute, I hope someone can shed some light on this searched a bit but couldn't come to any conclusions.

So here we go--

I'd like to just do forged rods and pistons SS valves on a normal 2.0 block but since we all build these engines to race rather we do it from a stoplight or a tree we do it to go fast so i'd lke to add about 150 shot of NoS.

I'd be using Greddy E-Manage, 780cc inj, Innovative wideband, keydriver stage III chip and maybe a Safc II so i can set the tune for 2 different stages one for just turbo and the other for Nos and turbo. I hope someone can really shed some light on this and maybe gimme some pros and cons

I'd appeciate any and all input both negative and positive

thanks

Ohhh yea my goal is about 450-500 AwHp and with the Nos around 600-650.

the turbo ill be usin is AgP 56 trim/Gt 40

IMO you need to really sit down, read up, and re-decide on your setup. Your talking about running 2 piggybacks along with a modded keydiver chip, the only fuel modification you listed were PTE 780's which IMO are not sufficient. With little tuning experience, i wouldn't go slapping 150shot on any vehicle.

I didn't mean to list the Safc-II i recently took it off and added the Greddy Emanage

This is what i have- 780cc's inj, ffwd cams DKs2), 255lph pump ,aeromotive fpr , keydriver stage3 w/ NoS chip and Greddy Emanage with laptop.

Ok so you say 780's aren't enough looks like maybe you can shoot a suggestion. I have a set of 1000cc's they are high impedience inj is that sufficient.

Just talked to a member on the forums and he said a few peeps have tried turbo/Nos combo and really never could get it to work properly with a big shot, although they did get a dry 60hp shot to tune ok. thi might be a alternative for that Xtra edge.

Are you wanting this to be a street car or full blown race car? Its hard to tune nitrous in for the fact that it did cause spikes for mine when I did. Running a e16g was hard enough with it already spiking. Just make sure you research your wastegates, and run a direct port with something to regulate the nitrous and fuel. You might even look into running a seperate fuel cel just for the nitrous wet kit..
