Engine bay rust

I have a relatively clean 2g dsm but I see small amounts of rust forming near the strut towers and in a couple other spots. what should I do?

if it hasn't eaten through the metal yet, sand the rust away then use a primer to cover the bare metal.

sand, clean with rubbing alcohol, primer, paint, then clear.... done

Usually by the time the top layer starts to rust the inner layers are already pretty bad.

Strut towers are common on 2gs for rust.

Cut the rust out and replace the metal. That is the only way it will never return.
