Recently my 95 Gs-T has engine has been getting really hot. The guage says its not overheating or anthing. My fan is always on mostly on all the time now. I already changed the thermostat and did a radiator flush. The engine seems to just build up so much heat and after it has been running, it takes about more then a hour for the heat to completely cool down when I touch it. It never was like this before. Any help with this at all please? Thanks alot.

Are you running your heat shields over your turbo? Are you letting the car spool down before you shut it off. All turbo cars are hot under the hood. When you have 1200 degree exhaust gas running through a turbo and manifold it's gonna get everything hot if you don't have something to protect it. The car may no be overheating but everything under the hood is heatsoaked. Can kinda fix this problem by putting some washers under your hood to create a vacuum and pull the hot air out. Also if you are running leak you will have even higher EGT temps. and heatsoak even more.

Our cars run really hot. and they take longer than usual to cool down. my favorite is the way the exhaust manifold goes from a metal dark brown color when cold to a light ash gray when hot.

Or if you want. You can run both fans without the a/c by pulling the condinser fuses. Then you dont have the a/c unit on but both fans are on.

I do let my engine spool down everytime Im about to turn my car off and have heat shields over my turbo. The problem is that, it never did this before like get this hot before. What exactly do you mean by putting washers in and create a vaccum to get the heat out? Thanks for the advice.

He is refering to heat under the hood not engine coolant temp. I beleive from his post. The washer trick is easy. Where the hood bolts to the hinges just take the bolts out and put washers between the hood and hinge. It will raise the back of the hood and the air rushing over the hood will create a vacuum and pull the hot air out from the engine back.
