So I've noticed after driving a few different style racing clutches that the one I have now literally engages about a half inch from the floor board. .is there any way to adjust it out just a bit more? My car is a 90 tsi awd 5spd with a stage 3 clutch..it tends to grind a little when cold..warms up and shifts like butter..

is it an ACT? I have the same problem.... its gotten slightly better but I Bled it like crazy, also follow Jacks Clutch adjustment video on youtube, it explains how to get the most from your pedal assembly/ clutch master cylinder.

As mentioned above, bleed the system, a lot. Then follow the tutorial on the jackstransmission site for master rod adjustment.

You should also check the pedal assembly since it's a 1g. If you can pull up on the pedal and notice movement, the clutch pedal assembly should be removed, new bushings installed, and the cross shaft welded to the arm that actuates the master cylinder rod.
