2G End case cover removal

Long story short i had a jhook go through my end cover from a towing company and i got it welded up.. its leaking now... can you remove this and just replace it while the tranny is on the car ?

No you have to put one back on too

Drain it first unless you want a big mess. Reverse synchro and wave washer are in the end case too. Pay atte tion.
