Resolved Empty threaded hole in head??

Ok i havnt owned my car long... but i have the 4g63T motor and on the left side of my block (passenger side) there is a threaded hole which looks to be empty? Can someone tell me if something belongs here?? Not my motor** Just a demo pic of what hole i am talking about... See the closest header tube? There is a bolt just to the left of the tube and then left and down from the one with the bolt is an empty hole in that pic. it is also empty on my car. I need to know what that goes to... if anything?

Do you mean where that bolt is you don't have a bolt? That should be an oil passage. I'll have to look at my motor. Or do you mean you have a hole that doesn't exist on that motor in the pic at all??? I'm confused.

There are two vertical holes, then just up from there a plugged hold. Which are you talking about?

The two holes below that plug look to be for a bracket of some kind. I'll look at my motor after I leave work and will reply.

Its the top vertical hole, my car is in the shop right now... so i cannot look to see if the bottom one is empty too. But yes top vertical hole right next to the one with the bolt in it.

Hate to tell ya, but I don't have either of those holes!

When you get your block back, you will find out sooner or later. Glance through the "engine bay" pics in the gallery and see if you can find out from there. IDK
