I have a 1g GST. When i took it to emissions testing the other day it failed. Too much Nox I think. The paper is not in front of me. My downpipes wraping is completely gone and leaks like a sieve. I do have a new catalytic convertor on it though. The question I have is this.

Is an exhaust leak before the catalytic convertor a benefit as far as emissions testing goes or does it harm me because I am introducing more oxygen before the covertor has a chance to do it's job ?

I need to make sure the car will pass e-check before I spend money on exhaust and other things.
