It's a waste of your money. I got the ELM 327 (supposed to be faster) but I only get 4 data points per second. Completely worthless for doing anything but monitoring temperatures. Put the money towards something a bit better. 96+ 2gs and MMCD (http://mmcdlogger.sourceforge.net/) for the 1gs.

well besides spending 125 for pocketlogger (this will be for my 97) is there any other options thats what i was thinking with the elm guess i was wrong any ideas

I meant to say look at EvoScan for 96+ 2gs. I've heard mixed results from the 95s. You'd be good to go with the 97.
