I would suggest you just go with the Ingersoll-Rand 3-port that they sell on the EcmLink site, it's a scant $49 compared to what a GS 3-port runs. The IR is proven to work, and work reliably, so if you have the GS sell it and use that money you make off it to buy the IR. Then take the leftover and put it towards other parts. Trying to make the GS work might just cost more time and headache in the long run if Link doesn't recognize it or requires lots of trial and error to work efficiently. Take this for what you will.
 
As long as it wires in the same way, I don't see why it wouldn't work. The duty cycles might need a little work/adjusting, but unless it's got some off the wall wiring schematic and isn't just a simple solenoid like EVERY OTHER EBC out there, I think you'll be fine. :)
