electronic boost controller question

Ok I was looking over my car yesterday and saw something that I was unfamiliar with. My car uses my greddy profec for my boost gauge... its made into the boost controller which is coming off of my wastegate... Is this a problem in any body's opinion? I am just used to running boost gauge off of port p on my throttle body. I never really noticed but next weekend im taking all weekend to cleaning engine bay.

It's apart of your boost controller. It uses the valve/display for boost control (obviously), as well as a peak/warning function.

Here's a link to GReddy's manuals for the profec series, select shock one you have and download it. It'll give you an idea of what it does and how, as well as the basic settings

Why? If you learn how to use a EBC its just as good as a MBC and has more features as well. Sure it cost more money, but hey, we like putting all of our hard earned cash into these things anyways .

I have the EBC Profec B Spec I and I absolutely love it. I fabricated a custom boost switch button for it as well. Works like a champ.

z I got the apexi one and after it learned how to work it, why bother getting out of your car, turning it up or down, and then seeing if its right or not. Its all right at your finger tips while youre in the car.
