Hey guys I just gat back from the Texas Mitsubishi Shootout in San Antonio. I ran a best ET of 14.33 @ 101.1 on my first day at the track since my turbo swap on a 14b at 14 psi. Stock turbo, stock injectors, stock intercooler, full interior. I've got a write up with pictures and a video on my blog.

Yoshi were you there? I didn't see anyone from El Paso.

I was there from 10 am to 2 pm. Then me and my fiancee went to the Alamo and hung out on the Riverwalk before heading back to San Marcos. Yeah your little brother told me y'all were going but I guess we missed each other.

What happened to the El Paso DSMers???? Where is everyone? How's everyones summer going?

I want to go to the track some kind of bad but I'm going to be in 3 different states over the next month, Georgia, California, and Florida. The earliest I would possibly be able to go is August 8th. Does anyone know when they close for the year?

I've been busy with my car though, getting everything straight for the track, 13's next time!!! I'm replacing my throttle body shaft seals to get rid of a boost leak, replacing my front control arm and rear track arm bushing with Energy Suspension bushings to help with wheel hop, I low mounted my battery (I'll post a pic so you know what I'm talking about), removed my cruise control, and I FINALLY got my Buschur Racing heat shield (backordered for 2 months).

Next Sunday, August 8th, at the El Paso Motorsports Park (I-10 at the Clint exit). I think the track opens at 5 pm. So far myself and Juan (jjm96gst) will be there. How cool would it be to have a big DSM showing? Who else is down? Let us know!

Awesome! I'm just going to go straight there. I'm working midnights so I'm going to be a zombie and will have to go to work after the strip anyways. If I wasn't working I would be down to meet up and caravan in but not this time.

I don't know the cost. Im also not sure about the time anymore either. I thought it was 5-10 but I was just looking at the SWD forums and here is what I have found: "Gates open at 7:00 p.m.. Test and tune start at 8:00 and Eliminations for the both classes start at 8:40 p.m. . Inbetween eliminations hte regular Sunday Test and Tune will be happening."

I called the owner but got a voicemail. Hopefully he will call me back soon as I am about to go to sleep.

If anyone else wants to call this is the number I have: Vic Hernandez 915-588-8119 Post whatever info you find out. I guess I'll be going around 7:30 now. Sorry for all the confusion guys. This is my first time dealing with this track and the don't have an actual website, just a forum which can be confusing.
