I just wanted to let all you guys know what went down on our Sunday track day. We got to the track at 7:30 pm ready to race and at 7:31 it started pouring. It was raining super hard. It was nice and sunny in El Paso but raining like crazy in Clint. After we realized there wasn't going to be any racing we went back to El Paso and guess what? Nice and dry, no sign of rain. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Anyways we hung out at Wataburger for about 2 hours and talked cars so the night wasn't a waste.

I've got all the info on the track now for future reference. The track is El Paso Motorsports Park, located on I-10 at the Clint Exit. On Sundays the track opens at 7:00 for registration. Racing runs from 8:00 - 11:00. It's $15.00 to Test and Tune and $6.00 for spectators. Cash only!

nice nice! cars in the shop cant wait to get it out! but down to just kick it sometime 9156940441 for anyone who keeps up with texting other members. fyi tomorrow theyre showing movies at the plaza should be real cool.
 
hey guys im in the el paso area and just got ahold of a 94 gsx... its not running ### of the cracked block and its in pieces but im down to meet up one of these days and see whats up. and ill keep yall posted about how everything is going as far as the build is concerned :)

Welcome to both of you guys! 94gsxx, what are your plans for the rebuild? Is this your first DSM?

Sunday, September 5th I'll be hitting the track again. Hopefully it won't rain this time and I can make some passes. If anyone wants to go let me know.

Im a fellow Mitsu guy, just from the east coast/Appalachia region.

well Im in need of a huge favor, my father and I need a 80-90 mile ride from the el paso airport to My grandmothers house in NM. Her husband just passed away, and my father and I got volunteered to drive her back across country. Our flight arrives at 1230 and it should take an hour to an hour 20 depending on how fast you guys out west like to drive. If anyone thinks they could help out then please let me know, we are kinda optionless, and the mitsu community is always the first place I look for help.

a date might be helpful, sorry its late. we will be showing up on thursday the 9th

El Paso DSMer, not really new to the area or new to DSM but I finally have another DSM. So just letting my fellow El Paso DSMers know you have another to the bunch. :D
 
well were three awd and one gst and were going cruising on wednesday if anyone is down...

Why are all the cruises always on Wednesdays? I work every Wednesday night. Actually I think I may be off next Wednesday night (For the first time in like 2 years) if anyone is down to cruise then too let me know.
 
just wanted to mention to everyone that the el paso motorplex is having a shop/team shootout on sat. the 9th. they consist of 6 car teams...

the good thing is that it will be bracket.. so any car can be competive its all bout how good of a driver you are. you can check the local forum southwestdrags.com or pm me for details...

hope to see a good amount of dsms out there repping..
