EGT Gauges Where and How Much?

Alright guys, I did some searching and maybe I'm retarded because I didn't find anything on Prices or where to get an EGT gauge.

I ordered my CarbonFiber EGT gauge and got today, however I was lead to believe that the probe was included. It was not, so I'm kinda pissed.... since the gauge itself was $150. Is this a $300 investment...for a GAUGE? or what. and If it is, I'm going to bite the bullet and finish it... Which probe should I use?

So heres the deal... does anyone know where I can get the Gauge w/ Probe together for less than $300 or am I retarded and the set up is actually $300.

The Gauge number is 4743 and I believe I need Probe #5244.. Any help would be appreciated fellas. Oh, and spending $300 on a gauge and having to replace my double pillar with a tripple pillar for $60 is making me sick.

Ebay is your friend. They have plenty of EGT gauges that include the probe and wiring.

Ditto, I got my GReddy for $150 from a local speed shop, everything included.

If you want to return that pretty gauge and spend $121.90, PM me and I'll tell you where. I use this one, it works great, and yes it includes the temp. probe.

Right on, Thanks for the link Doug. I'm going to get the gauge off of ebay for like $100 and get the TRE Probe... But it only comes with 18 inches of wire, which isn't enough... did you guys buy the shielded wire from them or did you just use regular wire to finish it off? obviously it's going ot the pillar, but i'll still need like 3-4 more feet.. doesn't that add resistance to the line making it inaccurate?

I used that heat shielded stuff, mostly cause Im anal about things. I do have a friend who used speaker wire without any negative affects.

The EGT gauge I have (Isspro) came with enough lead wire from the sending unit to hook up to the probe directly. I didn't need any extra.
