Hi all,

I recently pulled the motor out of my 1992 6-bolt GSX. I've been in the process of going through it replacing things that are old or worn out and I came across something strange. On the EGR Temp sensor, there is some sort of sheath covering the wire that goes from the sensor to the wire harness connector. I noticed some kind of oil coming from inside the sheath. When I pulled the sheath back there was oil covering the wires. I inspected the sensor itself and there's no fluid coming out or around it and before I pulled the motor I didn't have any CEL's. So my question is, is this normal? Or is this a sign that the sensor is starting to go bad and I should replace it? Any help is most appreciated. Thanks!:dsm:
