Ecuflash with 6 bolt swap utilizing MAFT

Can I easily use ecuflash on my 99 gsx if I have a 6 bolt swap and if so, what happens to my maft?

What else do I need to do, buy and download? I have no knowledge about ANY of this and searching gives me mixed answers

This is my exact setup. Jus zero out the MAFT and do all your tuning with ecu flash. You'll need a tactrix cable which is $150 I think and ecu flash is free to download.

Tactrix cable is actually 2 cables right? For logging and the actual tuning part right?

Also, is there much difference between v2 dsmlink & v3 ecmlink?

I couldn't really tell you about dsmlink/ecmlink. But the tactrix cable is one cable and use to flash only. But you can buy the software evoscan and a cheap eBay vagcom 1.3 cable to log with.

Just to clear this above up... You CAN use the 0p 2.0 for logging as well. Actually standalone logging to a SD card with no PC as well.

It does have slower logging rate than the 1.3 cables. But, in my opinion they are better built.
