ECUflash ECUFlash Problems

Ok so here I am so far...

I have searched and searched...

I am able to download from the ECU, but when it gets to the point of reading it, it will not let me saying it is an unknown definition...now I have the definition everyone is saying I need 20550011 saved in the rommetadata folder..but its still not letting me read it, or change it or anything..

I am 99% sure the ECU is flashable (99 GST ECU)...it downloads all the information, I just can not actually read it.

Have you tried downloading a 20550011 ROM from and opening it to see if it loads correctly in ECUFlash?

You didn't put the definition file in the rommetadata folder while ECUFlash was open and tried opening the read image right after did you? If so you need to close Flash and re-open it before it will use the new definition file.

OK so i saved what I believe is the stock xml...and flashed over the latest CEDDYMODS (with donation of course ) and started it up without changing anything....seems to run fine

Now the tuning part begins

Alright so 2055 opens in ecu flash and I was able to read but I am unable to view or make changes to ecu
