ECU purchasing question for 1g gst

I need advice from more knowledgeable people. I need a new ecu for my 1g gst. I have the opportunity to buy either a 1g AWD MT Eprom (looks a little dirty on the board) or a GVR4 Eprom (new caps and is currently running in a dsm) both are supposedly running ecu's and both are $150 shipped, looking for opinions on the topic. Need pros and cons want to send payment today if possible. One is from Miller Imports another is from an active forum member here. Thanks for the help guys!

From my understanding, a gvr4 ecu is not a direct plug n play ecu for your car. The mt awd ecu is, so long as yours is a manual, and $150 is a fair price for a working EPROM ecu

If they are both the same price, just get the dsm one.

The only differences is in the software installed in the EPROM socket and the configuration resistors.

Buy which ever is in the better condition.
