ECU power output, and extra grounds

My question is regarding the pinouts for the ECU; mainly 106 & 107 power and ground. I have an old school 5 knob AFC installed and will be installing an APEX' i AVC-R. The only shared wires of both these tuning devices are the power and ground.

I searched for some related info and found this thread (a bit old):

Is it ok to just combine grounds, and have both power wires into the same ECU pin? The thread said something about popping a ground on the ECU. I won't be looking forward to that. Any help would be appreciated. If I need to use power and ground from another source I'm sure that can be arranged. Thanks a lot guys!!! Have a swell day, and thanks for reading!

Sharing grounds is okay. The ECU has a ground loop isolator, mainly to cut down on "noise". I'd ground somewhere else then EXACTLY where the ECU grounds. But who knows you could have no problems.
