If I were to lower the fuel pressure down to 37 psi from 60psi, would i have to reset the ecu? and if so, how do I reset it?

i think 60 psi is a little high. if you change your fuel pressure, you wont have to reset yer ecu

yeah I know the guy i bought the car from had the fuel pressure set at 60 psi so i lowered it back down to 37psi, but when I did the car idled bad. Like it wanted to cut out, and sometimes it did, but anyway how do you reset a ecu?

Disconnect your positive battery terminal for a couple of minutes. Hook it back up and let it idle for a few minutes. You should be good after that.

Do you know what size injectors are in the car? How much boost are you running? That fuel pressure seems off the chart, and I would be asking myself why it might be turned up that high in the first place before I lowered it. You should ask the previous owner what was going on there.

well right now, I have RC 550 injectors and a AEM fuel rail, with the 255 fuel pump, and the regulater set at 30 psi. I'm running 12psi out of a big T3/T4 turbo.

Assuming the car was tuned for a 60 psi base fuel pressure you will have to return the car again once you lower the base pressure back down to sane pressure. That could be done several ways using a MAFT. SAFC, or reprogramming the ECU. Reseting the ECU won't change the tuning parameters just clear the long term variables.

How are you compensating for the 60 BFP and 550cc injectors? I don't see a tuning device in your profile. How much boost are you running and on what turbo? T3/T4 doesn't tell us much about the turbo.
