First of all: I did search but didn't find any definite answer. If someone knows a thread with the answer link me.

97 ECU in a 95 Car... I know about the inverted CAS thing, and the car vibrates around 3k as described in other threads... question is, does anyone know a workaround for this? Can I just invert cables at the ecu harness or near the CAS itself?
Also, with that inversion do I still need to mess with the spark cables order?

Since you mention "in a '95 car", I'm going to assume you have a '95 CAS which is behind the intake cam gear.

From the link wiki page about swapping plug wires:

When installing a '97 ECU that has been converted to EPROM on a car with a 1g or 2gb cam angle sensor, you would not need check the box to invert the CAS and swap plug wires, as the signals should be the same as the ECU is expecting to see. However, if you are installing it in a car with a '95/'96 cam angle sensor, you do need to check the box to invert the CAS, as well as swap the plug wires.

You either swap spark plug wires or swap injector wires in the ECU. Much easier to swap plug wires.

That's what I meant, excuse my wording, but thank you that is useful! I will take my time to read that wiki, didn't really cross my mind (long day at work).

If you have ecmlink you have to swap plug wires and check the invert cas box. If you don't have ecmlink you have to swap plug wires and injector wires.

Sadly I don't, it's a stock car and can't seem to find a 95 ECU around, hence the question. But thnx for the input :thumb:
