This is on a 1990 gst not the 95 gsx in my profile.....So i got a cel and tested it with the led trick. But I'm a bit confused on what code I'm getting. I checked vfaq and still don't understant so I'm hoping you guys can help....s is for short and l is for long...the code it llslssssllslssssllslssss

That sequence shows you have two codes. Since long pulses count as ten and you always begin with a long pulse, short pulses count as one, and from http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-engine-fuel/91197-check-engine-light-codes-95-2001-mits-eagle.html:

lls = Code 21 - Problem with the upstream oxygen sensor signal circuit. Sensor voltage to computer not fluctuating
lssss = Code 14 - MAP sensor voltage out of normal range

I was thinking it might be 2 codes. Thank you for the input. I must aslo add that this is on a 1990 gst not the 95 gsx posted in my profile. I don't know if that changes the codes or not because i looked at code 14 in the haynes manual, and it says 14 is a tps senson.
 
Yes, that does change things. Code 14 is the throttle position sensor; code 21 is the engine coolant temperature sensor.
