My haynes manual has the complete electrical schematics. Is there an autozone near you?

A Haynes manual is not going to give you a schematic of the ECU. AFAIK, the factory service manuals won't either. That's not really public info and a dealer would just order another ECU if they found one with a problem. No untrained dealership mechanic making $20/hr is going to mess with soldering and testing a circuit board. Even if it did give you one, you'd have a difficult time probing and diagnosing circuits on the board without lab grade equipment and a degree in electronics.

My '98 FSM does NOT have a schematic for the ECU, you're SOL on that one.

I'm an avionic specialist, so I have access to a work bench and I'm trained in electronics. I just wanted to see if someone had schematics or previously shot an ecu to save a good bit of time. I just know $5 relays at radio shack's cheaper than a new ecu. Thanks for the help. It was worth a shot.

You could always try the DSM ECU yahoo group. It's free-to-join and there's a wealth of ECU logic/coding info there, I don't know if you'll find specifically what you're looking for but there are many OG tuners who've contributed there. I never found it very easy to search the messages but maybe you'll do better than I.
