How is timing affected by adding boost? Should timing be taken out? I'm asking b/c I'm tuning on about 14 lbs and it seems like I'm having to take a lot of timing out at around the 6K mark.

My AFR's are spot on. I need to tune my airflow a bit more, but I'm trying to get rid of any knock over 1 degree before I pay much attention to the air.

Yes, I have an LC-1 set up for logging and narrowband sim.

I will tune the airflow tomorrow and see if that helps. Any other suggestions? I'm getting around 3 degrees of knock that starts at about 13 degrees. Seems a little ridiculous.

UPDATE:

I took the car out this morning to do some airflow tuning. I'm liking the results. I turned the timing down a couple of degrees just to be safe so I could get a decent baseline. My first run still yielded about 2-3 degrees of knock, but I shut the run down as soon as I saw it. I went through each of the Hz for airflow and adjusted the sliders accordingly (about 1% for each .1 of a/f discrepancy)... My next pull yielded no more than .7 knock at the very top of third. After a few more pulls and adjustments, I'm running within 1-2% of 11 on both the estimate and my WB, and the knock is down to no more than .4. I went ahead and turned the fuel up to about 10.8 at the top of third to try and knock that out too, but it's still there.

I know I shouldn't be too worried about .4 degrees of knock. I actually think this is being caused by other factors (carrier bearings going out and worn motor mounts). I plan on fixing both of those issues asap.

Thanks for the advice!
