eclipse too rich??

i just got a 1997 eclipse gst. it have an intake manifold jb or bj i think is the brand. it also has a greddy intercooler and BOV. and it has a 20g turbo. im guessing its not tuned because it smokes like crazy and smells like gas. and if i step on the gas too hard it sounds like the engine stalls......any ideas as to whats going on? is the turbo too big for it? or do i need a tune?

what color is the smoke? if the turbo were to big then the car would run fine at idle then go really lean under boost, but being that you can smell gas sounds like you are to rich. do you have anything to log with, if not i recommend something like this. DSMChips.com | DSM ECU Chips Enchanced by Keydiver is their anything in the car to tune with like a SAFC? also you might want to get a hold of the person you bought it from and find out exactly what went into the car before you bought it.

thanks dude. i rebuilt the turbo and its not smoking anymore. its a 14b. but my car is suffering from what i think is fuel cut....
