Eclipse dash guages

I found these on ebay, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them or advice regarding the guages themselves, fitment, or other required parts.

if they had one for a 1 g i would get it and tell you about it. I really would like on of those instead of having to get the one that goes in the vents. but all and all it looks good. but it does seem shady that those gauges come with it.......... they are what 40-60$ each with out the bezzel?

friend of mine has one on his 97tsi awd, not sure where he got it, but same idea. I was going to get one off of Diamondstarmotorsports.com but opted for the dual apillar instead. I'll probabaly get one of those later on when I need more gauges. They fit quite well and don't cover the stock gauges nearly at all, no where near what I thought they would.

i have one, its great very stealth. nobody can't tell if you have any gauges, plus it doesn't cover any of your stock gauges. in my opinion, its a good buy

Autometer put these out for our cars quite awhile ago now. I have never heard anything bad about them.

Yikes, get one of the copies for $20.

You'll probably have some issues with your boost gauge, there's not a lot of depth behind the pod before you get cluster interference. However, it can be overcome with a little bit of scheming.

Yeah, I had forgotten about that. I had to trim one of the mounting threads on the back of the gauge so it didn't hit the stock plexiglass cover.

and yeah I will be sure to mod it should it not fit perfectly. any words on the quality of the boots guage and the A/F guage? seems cheap, but i mean how bad can they be right? gotta be better than stock.

where can you get these "copies" its 90 bucks shipped off of ebay and basically the same off of dsmmotorsport.com, 70 bucks off of slowboy, didnt see the same one off of mach v, 70 off of dsmparts.com..and the list goes on. if you can find me one for 20 bucks ill pay pal you 5 bucks, only because you entertain me though

You should know that none of them will fit like the stock trim bezel, at least not any that I have seen. Where the stock piece snaps in with clips from the back of the bezel on the bottom edge, these gauge bezels just have two holes there (what do you screw into?). I bought one off eBay, and the two top holes for the screws that go up wern't even countersunk. Plus, I just wasn't that happy with the way it fit in the dash, especially with two ugly screws looking at me when the stock piece has the clips instead.

I ended up cutting the ends off of the gauge bezel and molded them onto the stock piece, so it looks like these gauge bezels, but much better cause there isn't two screws visible on the bottom. Plus it just fits better all the way around. I guess it just depends on how picky you are.

i ordered mine from there and everything attaches the way the stock cluster does (at lest screw wise and i also believe at the bottom but i forget). i also had a $20 ebay one. the one from summit (probably same as slow boy, dsmotorsports etc) seems like it was made the same way as the bezel, my ebay one was painted black, not as smooth and nice as the autometer one, and only had the screws up top.
