OK Ive done a little research here but I'm still cloudy on some things.

Ive only been looking at 3 or 4 specifically

Profec II
profec-S
avc-r
Blitz SBC i-D

I have basic mods check the profile but i basically want to plan ahead as anyone should, but i have a 95 gs-t and i checked and i DO have the eprom ecu so i know in the future ill be getting the dsmlink, and i heard the profec's dont work with that management? truth to his claim? All Ive heard from the avc-r is bad news, and not much new at all form the blitz

I'm not worried about program difficulties i dont care it it takes me 3 hours to set it up for 5 min i want to do it right and have lots of control over the vehicle.

I was also hoping for a complete break down of each controller and what each has, most websites from vendors dont have a full list for each, but they just say the basic features these controllers have.

I know the Biltz SBC seems to have the most as well as the AVC-R but do either work? would it be much easier to go with the profec II? or will that not work in the future for me because dsmlinke messed with it, or it has limited controls, what about the profec-s what does it have that the -II doesnt? a little help would be very nice. :dsm:

At your particular mod level(if your profile is accurate), I would just get a manual BC and get some other supporting mods. But as for opinions on the ones listed I would go with the Greddy Profec S. It's the most like the old Profec. Its simple and it works. Get a manual BC though :D .

I vote profec-S. More control over a MBC. It works and it works well! EBC setup properly are superior to MBCs.

What else is there to say? It looks cool too? Remote switch...? I think some one tapped it into the cruise control in the steering column...to switch between boost levels. Thats kinda cool!

Dang ya you need a lot more mods LOL sorry... :D

I have a profec with remote high low control as well and like it, but will be swapping out to turbo XS dual stage with ball and spring 1st stage. Reasons:

A) when racing I have enough to worry about not to mention pushing a dam button which 90% of the time I push it, I apply force like I am on my gas pedal and roate the switch around the back of the steering wheel. Sometimes it will not toggle.

B) with dsm link V2, you can use the nitrous controls to toggle high low boost automatically based off of speed, engine RPM, knock ect. KICK ASS And works great. JUST WILL NOT WORK WITH A PROFEC since the greddy controller is a momentary switch where is the turbo XS changes state with 12v/0v input. a cheaper alternative is the dejon or turbosmart version.

C) a manual override switch can be wired it to provide constant high or low regardless of how the ECU tells it to toggle.

But dont get me wrong the EBC. The greddy with gain, set gain, overboost protection ect do make it nice to have. I am just going for a more "constant" with my car.

Out of all of them listed in the origianl post I like the profec the best.
